Rubber Regalia was formed through the chance meeting of warmrubberette and Spike in 2019. The Montreal gay rubber scene wasn’t as inclusive as Spike would have liked it and the “straight” latex scene was quite dull, leaving rubberists no chance to mingle and play. Spike was recently minted Mr Rubber Montreal and warmrubberette was a brand new project, eager to create. We had the revolutionnary idea (in 2019, it was!) of trying to merge both scenes, of offering an inclusive safe space for rubberists regardless of gender, sex or orientation. After harsh lockdowns and a pandemic, RubberRegalia became a thriving, safe and inclusive community of like minded shiny perverts.
